AMD Ryzen 9 3950X Specification
Ryzen 9 3950X is based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture and combines two 7-nm FinFet processes and a 14-nm input/output crystal on a single substrate. The 16-core model with 24 PCI-Express 4.0 lanes retains the processor socket and case dimensions, similar to other AM4 socket solutions. The base clock frequency of the CPU is 3.5 GHz, in boost mode, it is 4.7 GHz. The total amount of cache memory of the novelty was 72 MB, the declared thermal package (TDP) was 105 W.

During the presentation, AMD was able to overclock the Ryzen 9 3950X using nitrogen cooling to 5375 MHz – this frequency brought the processor a record 12,167 points in the Cinebench R20 benchmark – 12% more than the previous Intel Core i9-7960X record holder.
