Gran Turismo 7 Revealed New Race Details [Video]

Gran Turismo 7 received its own State of Play presentation, in which the authors tried to tell as much as possible about the game. The developers of the race not only reminded of the already announced features and the amount of content but also showed a couple of new modes that are directly related to music.

Polyphony Digital studio head and series game director Kazunori Yamauchi revealed that there will be more than 400 cars in the game that can be upgraded, with about 60 upgrades available for each car. After that, it remains to decorate the vehicle with stickers and go to one of the 90 tracks in 34 locations.

Gran Turismo 7 users will be able to buy new and used cars, as well as get acquainted with their history in a special mode. The simulator also has a split-screen for two players, and a special music format that can be described as racing karaoke – races against the clock, but with perky compositions.

The authors of Gran Turismo 7 talked about the technical improvements of the title. The game will have a new cloud generation system, and the starry sky will become as realistic as possible. PlayStation 5 owners will be able to dive deeper into the race with the tactile feedback and trigger resistance of the DualSense controller, and choose from two performance options: 30 fps with ray tracing or 60 fps without ray tracing.

Recall that the release of Gran Turismo 7 is scheduled for March 4th. The game will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Previously, with the help of a racing simulator, they clearly showed the difference between two generations of consoles .
