Chaina Started Work on 6G Networks

Reuters, citing Chinese state media, spoke about the beginning of research in the field of sixth-generation mobile networks (6G).

Representatives from China’s ministries and research institutes met to create 6G technology research and development teams, which will include scientific experts and officials. This is stated in the report Science and Technology Daily, published by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.

In late October, it became known that the largest Chinese operators China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom are launching their own 5G networks in megacities of the country. Earlier, China announced that it would launch 5G early next year, but due to a technology race with the United States, work had to be accelerated, Reuters writes.
