Google Pixel 5A Renders Comes on Surface

Google has not yet unveiled the mid-budget Pixel 5a smartphone, but a reputable insider OnLeaks has already published high-quality renderings of the device. In addition to the design features, the informant also revealed some technical characteristics of the future novelty.

Judging by the images presented, the Google Pixel 5a externally resembles its predecessor – a wide lower screen bezel and a cutout for a selfie module in the upper left corner. However, unlike the Pixel 4a, the square rear camera unit includes not one, but two sensors. Presumably it will be a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics.

According to an insider, the gadget will be equipped with a 6.2-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution. The back cover of the device will house a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will also receive a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers. The dimensions of the body of the device will be 146.3 x 68.6 x 8.8 mm.

According to rumors, the release of Google Pixel 5a will take place in August this year, simultaneously with the release of the first stable build of Android OS 12
