Motorola Unveils Four TVs on The Latest MediaTek Processors

Following the announcement of MediaTek’s MT9602 mobile platform, designed specifically to work in smart TVs, Motorola presented four of its new products on this chip at once. The ZX2 and Revou series TVs received support for Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and runs on Android 10.

In the line of available models, Motorola has released ZX2 models with a 32-inch display with a resolution of 1366×769 and a contrast ratio of 3000: 1, as well as 40 inches with a Full HD resolution and an increased contrast ratio of 5000: 1. The devices support image processing technologies Dolby Vision, HDR10, are equipped with adaptive color correction and dynamic backlight adjustment.

It is noteworthy that the TVs include a 40-watt audio system, represented by four speakers. The amount of RAM of the models is 2 GB with a constant 16 GB. Two HDMI, two USB, Ethernet and AUX are provided as connection ports with quick access.

Representatives of the older Revou line received 43 and 55-inch displays with 4K resolution and 3000: 1 contrast ratio. The manufacturer noted support for an extended color range, as well as support for the NTSC palette at 91%. The soundbar is integrated into the models: in the 43-inch model, it is represented by a pair of 24-watt speakers, and in the 55-inch TV – four speakers with a total power of 50 W.

A distinctive feature of the flagship line, in addition to the display and speaker system, is the presence of 32 GB of permanent memory and an additional HDMI port. All models support dual-band Wi-Fi networks and are built on the MediaTek MT9602 processor with advanced image and sound processing algorithms using artificial intelligence.

The 32-inch Motorola ZX2 TV costs $ 192. For a 40-inch model of the same series, the manufacturer asks for $ 274. The 43-inch Motorola Revou will cost $ 424, while the flagship 55-inch TV is priced at $ 561. The sales of new products will start on October 15th.
