This is the first such solution for the budget segment. Flagship platforms (Exynos 990, Snapdragon 865, etc.) use the 7-nm process technology.
Reducing the process reduces the power consumption of the processor, as well as increasing productivity while reducing the size of the chip.
The configuration includes eight ARM Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz, and the graphics subsystem Mali-G52. The platform supports LPDDR4X and eMMC 5.1 memory, displays up to Full HD +, cameras up to 22 megapixels (or dual up to 16 + 5 megapixels), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and LTE Cat.13.
Samsung Galaxy A21s is equipped with a 6.5-inch Infinity-O display with FullHD + resolution, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, the main camera 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP and a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging (15 W).
