Skoda has finally launched the Kushaq SUV for the Indian automobile market today. The starting price of the car is Rs. 10.19 lakh, ex-showroom.
The car will compete against Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Skoda Launches Kushaq In Indian Automobile Market; Starting Price Rs. 10.49 Lakh
As we all know, the Skoda Kushaq first appeared in India in March this year. Reportedly, the car will be available in various colors, such as Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Honey Orange, Tornado Red.

As per reports, these vehicles will be manufactured in India and will be based on the MQB-A0-IN version of Volkswagen Group’s Modular Transverse Toolkit. Skoda Kushaq will be 95 per cent localized in India and the models have been tested for 1.5 million kilometres in India.
Skoda Kushaq: Specifications And Features
The SUV will be fitted with two petrol engines. Technically, the Skoda Kushaq SUV will be offered by selecting two petrol engines – a 1.0 liter three-cylinder TSI and a 1.5 liter four-cylinder TSI. While the first one will be considered to generate 113 bhp of maximum power, the latter will bind 147 bhp. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox with a 6-speed automatic transmission (1.0-Liter TSI) and a 7-speed DSG (1.5 liter TSI) gearbox.
Dimensionally, the SUV measures 4,221 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, and 1,612 mm in height. It finds the longest wheelbase in the section, standing at 2,651 mm. It has clearance around 188 mm.
The car will also come with multiple features, which include 2-spoke steering with knurled touches, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, cooled glove box, adjustable rear AC vents, Smartphone pockets in the rear, reflective doorstep, 6-speaker audio system with 1 woofer, and a 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system.
There also are safety features included, such as six airbags, auto wipers and headlamps, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, ESC etc.
