Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starring ‘Kesari’ has become the latest victim of piracy. ‘Kesari’ was released on March 21 and within a day of its release, the notorious piracy site Tamilrockers has leaked the full movie through torrent.
Based on The Battle Of Saragarhi, ‘Kesari’ showcases the brave battle between 21 Sikhs and 10,000 Afghan soldiers. The film, which received mixed reviews, opened on a strong note on box-office. ‘Kesari’, which caters more towards North India audience, was also well-received in places like Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
On the very first day of its business, ‘Kesari’ earned a whopping Rs. 21.50 crore. Now, it will be interesting to see whether the piracy of ‘Kesari’ will affect its box-office collections or not. Well, only time will answer.
