OPPO first presented its primitive concept for optical zooming on a smartphone at MWC Barcelona in 2017. the company exhibited its 10X lossless zoom technology once again at the trade show this year and a few months later, the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom edition was revealed
OPPO Reno 10X Zoom Specification:
OPPO Reno 10X Zoom edition – as the name gives away – supports 5X optical, 10X lossless hybrid zoom, and up to 50X digital zoom. The smartphone features a triple camera setup including 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture as the primary sensor and an 8MP, f/2.2 sensor for 120º wide field of view. For optical zooming, the smartphone uses a periscopic setup similar to Huawei’s P30 Pro. This module uses a 13MP sensor with an f/3.0 aperture. With these specifications, the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom edition can be expected to give a tough fight to the Huawei flagship. In terms of video, the Reno supports recording at up to 4K 60fps and uses multiple microphones for a stereo surround sound effect.
