Windows 10 Testing New Task Manager For Gamers

Microsoft is working on an updated version of the Task Manager service in Windows 10, which displays statistics about computer performance. It’s built into the Xbox Game Bar, a gamer’s utility that runs via the Win + G hotkey.

The new “Dispatcher” is called the Resources Monitor and has begun rolling out gradually to users of Windows 10 versions 2004, 1909, and 1903. A full release is expected in November.

The main page of the Resources Monitor shows a list of processes currently running on the system, divided into applications, background tasks, and Windows processes. Each component has a button next to it to force completion.

It is assumed that the new tool will help gamers free the computing power of the computer from unnecessary tasks in order to direct them to increase the performance of the game.
